Research proves that irrespective of class, status, material success or intellect, the quality of connection (love and belonging) we share with other human beings has a direct correlation to our ongoing happiness.

The reverse is also true, i.e. irrespective of other circumstances in our lives a lack of connection will almost certainly lead to unhappiness and a lack of fulfilment.

This is why our primary relationships are so critical to the overall quality of our lives.

After the honeymoon period, relationships become difficult at the best of times and just like anything else in life, unless we actually invest in them, we can find ourselves really struggling to connect with the person we once fell in love with.

But it doesn't have to be this way

Over the years we have worked with a large number of couples to help them better connect - to feel more love, more belonging, more intimacy, more trust, more respect and more more!

We work differently to your average neighbourhood marriage counsellor in that we always insist on working each of the parties individually first, for at least one session.

The underlying principle being: 'if I don't understand and take responsibility for my own thoughts and emotions that undoubtedly affect the quality of our relationship, how can I expect you to do the same back?'

Indeed, it is usually the case that one of the parties own stuff is having a serious impact on the relationship and that by resolving this first, the relationship will immediately have a better chance of prospering.

One of the parties resolving issues such as perfectionism, addiction, anger, codependency, or jealousy might feel uncomfortable, but it often the fastest route to affecting change in the relationship.

This 121 work ahead of time often ensures a significantly better outcome and sometimes there is no need for any three way discussion because the relationship issue is already solved.

That said, the three way discussion is always very helpful in agreeing boundaries and to better communicate.

Our sessions last up to 2 hours. We would expect to see each partner at least once on a 121 basis. As an average we would expect 1 or 2 sessions thereafter, either individually or as a couple.

Price & Payment


We charge £300 per hour (inc VAT). Payment is due at the end of the session by card or bank transfer. Where we deem appropriate and where we can, we are happy to provide flexible payment terms or a discount.

Cancellation Policy

We will always be sensitive to clients needs and if we can change appointments around to avoid charging, which we usually can, we always will. That said, please be aware that any booking is subject to a rigid 24 hour cancellation / rearrangement policy. If we do not receive a minimum of 24 hours notice of a cancellation or re-arrangement, we reserve the right to charge for the appointment in full.


A lot of our potential clients are concerned about confidentiality but just like doctors and lawyers, maintaining client confidentiality is of utmost concern and sharing anything outside of their sessions would be a violation of our code of ethics. We do not digitalise any of our client notes and the paper versions remain locked away until they are shredded a few months are we have finished working together. Over the years, when a client has been very sensitive to the issue of confidentiality, we have been more than happy to sign legally binding Non Disclosure Agreements.


Sadly we do not offer any guarantees, however at the outset we agree clearly defined goals and discuss the chances of success. Our approach proves remarkably effective with most clients and if you come to us with a real determination to succeed, you'll have an excellent chance of achieving your goal.


Rapid, Genuine, Long Lasting Change


Versus traditional psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy can be a more direct and potentially authentic means to heal old emotional injuries and change long term beliefs and perspectives.
