Over the last 12 years we’ve helped hundreds of clients to successfully reduce their alcohol intake, to take back control so to speak, or where requested, we’ve helped them to stop drinking completely.
We have done this using a powerful combination of advanced clinical hypnotherapy, neuro linguistic programming, the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy and some wisdom created out of working with so many clients.
Our philosophy is simple – by treating the true cause of a dependancy or addiction, whilst rebuilding your emotional strength, we can help you to reduce or stop with a genuine sense of freedom, liberation and control.
The reason our approach works is because we understand that your “addiction” is not part of you and you certainly were not born with it. It’s simply something that you have learned to do as a means to cope or to feel somehow better in life (not that you actually do!).
It is a fact that over 80% of adults in the UK use alcohol for recreational purposes and whilst alcohol is as much a drug as cocaine or marijuana, we have been conditioned to see its use as normal and socially acceptable.
So society says that either you are a ‘normal’ drinker because you are in control, or where the volume and frequency becomes problematic, you’re a weak willed human being who is out of control and possibly even an alcoholic.
Indeed most people who call us regarding alcohol consumption are genuinely embarrassed about their dirty little secret because they see this dependancy or addiction as flaw in them. But at the same time, the thought of giving up drinking forever is terrifying.
