Hypnotherapists to compete on quiz show
by Sarah Howard
A group of hypnotherapists from across the country, will be pitting their wits against some of Britain's top quiz brains on the popular television show 'Eggheads', to air this evening.
The hypnotherapists have joined forces to try and beat the panel of 'Eggheads' who are considered to be some of the country's most intelligent individuals; including 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' winner Judith Keppel and winner of the most top world quiz titles - Kevin Ashman.
The show usually involves a team of contestants from the same profession, competing on an individual head-to-head basis against the Eggheads on specific topics.
One of the hypnotherapists stated about the experience, 'Usually the Eggheads win, so it was a real challenge to go up against them, especially Daphne, as she is considered one of the hardest to beat'.
The hypnotherapists come from a variety of different backgrounds and bring different areas of expertise to the show in topics such as history, politics and science.
The BBC sought to recruit those working in the highly regarded field of hypnotherapy. London based, a hypnotherapy association proved a useful agent to recruit the group of hypnotherapists and appealed for volunteers in newsletter format.
To see who wins the battle, catch the show at 5.30pm on BBC2.
