Weight loss hypnotherapy was the only solution for one woman

One woman was so sick of diet pills, gruelling exercise plans and weight loss classes which all failed her, that she relaxed away the pounds through weight loss hypnotherapy. Carolyn Jordan retired three years ago, resulting in her putting on 15 pounds.
Since she put on the excess weight, Carolyn has lost 50 pounds. Her first sessions were right before she went on a cruise where there was food all around her all day, but this was not a problem for her as she says she believes in hypnotherapy: "The hypnotherapy treatments helped me just not want to eat it" she said.
Carolyn said she didn't eat a single sweet on the entire trip. Without the hypnotherapy, Carolyn doesn't know how she would have coped, she said: "I would have probably taken a bite of every dessert they had available especially if it was chocolate."
The hypnotherapist responsible for Carolyn's success was Dr Wells, who mentioned it is like turning down the volume on the conscious waking mind where all our feelings and emotions are and turning up the volume on the sub-conscious mind - our inner selves.
While under hypnosis, the hypnotherapist uses imagery and metaphors to strengthen what she says her clients already know about the good and bad of the food they eat.
Hypnotherapists speak directly to the sub-conscious mind empowering the client to refuse food while still enjoying social events. In this case, Dr Wells gave Carolyn's sub-conscious a short list of tips to for success and an attitude adjustment before waking her. Carolyn said that hypnotherapy feels like taking a ''power nap'' and recommends it to those attempting to lose weight.
