If we have self confidence in a specific situation or area of our lives, we trust in our own abilities to achieve in those areas. That’s why most of life’s achievers tend to feel an abundance of self confidence whenever they need it most.
For many people however, self confidence is something that they admire in others but cannot seem to access for themselves, leaving them prone to feelings of fear, anxiety and insecurity, meaning they are less courageous, less positive and usually, less happy in life.
In the main, this is not a reflection of their genes or DNA - indeed, we are all born with a supreme sense of self confidence and self belief - no, low self confidence is usually a direct reflection of our formative conditioning at the hands of the big people or, as a direct result of specific events in our past.
In this regard, self confidence is definitely something we can work upon and rapidly improve.
