Steve Burns - Kentish Town Practice
Throughout his career, Steve's primary passion has been the motivation, development and success of people. He has always been fascinated by what makes us tick and how to help people achieve their most significant goals and realise their true potential.
Prior to starting The Therapy Lounge, Steve enjoyed a successful career in business. His first major project was to help establish, grow and then sell an international technology consultancy. He subsequently started his own Internet publishing and technology business, which he floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1999 and went on to grow internationally.
His fascination for personal development led him to finally leave the corporate zone in 2005 to pursue a full time career as a mind coach.
After training as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Ericksonian Hypnotherapist, NLP Master Practitioner and Health & Success Coach, Steve created The Therapy Lounge, with its first clinic based in NW London.
By employing the very latest self-improvement techniques, including hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Steve helps clients achieve fast and long lasting change.
Steve is 42 and lives in Hampstead with his wife, two kids and Robbie (the dog!).
Tim Smale - Charing Cross Practice
Tim Smale runs our Central London Hypnotherapy Practice. Tim studied languages at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne before spending 20 years in the media and communications industry holding a number of senior management positions within high profile media companies. Tim first learnt about hypnosis and the amazing power of the unconscious mind when his son was diagnosed with cancer in 2000 - quite simply, hypnosis helped him cope. As a result, he left to the corporate zone and trained to become a Clinical Hypnotist, graduating from the Lifeforce School for Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy in London. He is a member of the Hypnotherapy Association, the Hypotherapy Society, the national Hypnotherapy Register and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Society.
Tim specialises in all forms of positive performance and behaviour modification for professionals, broadcasters, entertainers and business people as well as running a clinical practice for the general public, successfully dealing with all aspects of life improvement through hypnosis.
Tim was official Mind Coach to Alastair Campbell's London Triathlon Team 2004 in aid of the Leukemia Research Fund.
Tim lives in Chiswick W4 with his wife and two children.
